  3. EP Release | Where the Honkytonk Belongs

    July 14, 2017 – Gethen Jenkins releases his 6-song EP, Where The Honkytonk Belongs, via Five Music. The album reflects Gethen’s personal journey as both an Iraqi War Veteran and an artist – highlighting his authentic songwriting and storytelling. As a follow-up to Where The Honkytonk Belongs, Gethen is currently in the studio crafting his full-length album to come this Spring 2018. The timing of the release of the EP is in conjunction with a lifestyle endorsement partnership with Firestone Walker’s 805 Beer, which kicked off with a billboard campaign this summer spanning from California to Texas.

    On his new EP, Gethen says, “I couldn’t be more excited about sharing this album with the world! These songs reflect some of my life experiences, both good and bad. I’m grateful for the opportunity to get this album into the hands of people that love Country Music as much as I do. After all, that’s truly “Where the Honkytonk Belongs”.
